About the conference

A Women in Leadership Conference Grounded in Research

Women's presence in leadership has grown across organisations, public institutions and universities, yet progress remains uneven and the barriers behind it are complex. The International Conference on Women in Leadership brings researchers, educators, practitioners and policymakers together to examine the evidence and discuss what genuinely changes outcomes. Held in Paris on 26–28 March 2027, it is a women in leadership conference built around peer-reviewed research and open academic discussion.

As an international women in leadership conference, WLCONF welcomes work from every region and from many disciplines, including management and organisational studies, political science, education, economics, law, public health and gender studies. It is a women's conference with a clear academic purpose: sessions are formed from accepted presentations, so participants hear current research and have time to question it. Practitioners looking for a women's leadership conference with rigorous content will find evidence they can take back to their institutions.

Participants can present orally, with a poster or live online, or attend as listeners without presenting. Accepted and registered abstracts appear in the ISBN Abstract Book, and eligible full papers can be published in the conference proceedings. For anyone who studies gender, power and organisations, this is a women and leadership conference designed for exchange across sectors and borders.
